How to Decode File Formats?

I have a file of blood pressure and heart rate data in a file format produced a beta version of BeatScope easy by Finapres. Unfortunately there is an error in their software and I can't export data over 40 mins.

If you know the file format specification (is it provided in a technical document by the format's authors?) then you can easily make your own tools to work with the data files. If it is not a published format and you can't find the info, you will need to do lots of experimenting and digging through assembly code to figure out what is going on.
