I have OSA and use a nasal mask......?

If your mouth is open does the Bipap lose its effect completely. People talk about there life transforming after CPAP or Bipap use and it never happened to me I still feel groggy and half drunk when I wake up. Should I have another sleep study. I do take sleeping pills maybe thats making me tired I dont know. I use Bipap because I could not tolerate CPAP.

If you wear a nasal mask and open your mouth, you will lose the effectiveness of the CPAP/BIPAP. If you breath through your nose well during the day, I would have the doctor assess the reason the mouth opens. Generally, it could be because your pressure isn't enough, because your jaw relaxes, etc... Try a full face mask. If you continue as you are, you might as well not wear it!
